CCV Site Tour 2022
2022 saw the return of our CCV Site Tour to the Australasian Gaming Expo in Sydney.
The excitement was evident even before we left Melbourne as this was our first tour to be booked out – CCV was on our tour to Clubs Australia, Balgowlah RSL, Harbord Diggers, Manly Warringah Rugby League Club (home of the Sea Eagles) and then finishing at Chatswood RSL.
CEO Andrew Lloyd welcomed everyone and thanked them for participating in the tour and wished the group a fantastic day of learning and networking.
Chatswood RSL
Clubs Australia CEO Josh Landis greeted everyone and led a healthy discussion covering the learnings from the COVID period through to how and what strategies that both Clubs Australia and ClubsNSW were developing to assist our clubs as we progress into the post COVID period. Feedback from all was this stop was well worth it.
Clubs Australia
Our coach driver successfully overcame the challenges of driving around Sydney to these fantastic clubs where their CEOs openly allowed the group into their life of how they ran their clubs and what direction and logic was portrayed to allow them to successfully do what they do. Although each club represented very diverse characteristics and models, it was clear that each had two key objectives in place as the basis for their successes: firstly, looking after and developing their teams and secondly having a driving focus on being strong and diligent workers for their specific communities.
Harbord Diggers hosted our lunch in their Teddy Larkin’s restaurant. Feeding such a large group in a relatively short time is a challenge all our clubs could understand. They did a great job. Many thanks to all concerned.
